E-attendance Policy

Online Attendance Policy in the E-Learning Environment
Introduction
This policy aims to clarify the rules and procedures related to attendance in online training courses, ensuring trainees' commitment and maximum benefit from the training content.
First: Definition of Online Attendance
Online attendance refers to the trainee's logging into the training platform and physically attending live sessions or completing the required activities within a specified time period.
Second: Methods of Documenting Attendance
1. Live Sessions:
• Attendance is automatically recorded upon entering the session using the personal login link.
• Attendance is required for a minimum of (for example, 75%) of the session duration to be considered "present."
2. Recorded/Asynchronous Courses:
• Attendance is determined by completing the content and completing the interactive activities and tests.
• Attendance can be measured by the number of hours the trainee spends on the platform or the number of training modules completed.
3. Assignments and Tests:
• Submitting assignments and tests on time is considered an element of attendance and commitment.
Third: Attendance Requirements
• A minimum attendance rate of (for example, 80%) of the total training hours is required to receive a certificate of completion.
• Absence without an official excuse may affect the trainee's evaluation or result in the loss of the certificate.
• Acceptable excuses include health conditions, emergencies, or documented work circumstances.
Fourth: Absence Reporting Mechanism
• The trainee must notify the training team or supervisor via email or an excuse form prior to the session or within 24 hours of the absence.
• Attach proof of the excuse, if possible (a medical report, letter from the employer, etc.).
Fifth: Lateness and Interruptions
• A trainee is considered "late" if they enter a session more than (for example, 15 minutes) after its start.
• Repeated interruptions during sessions (entering and leaving, or lack of interaction) affect the final attendance assessment.
Sixth: Consequences of Absence
Depending on the training provider's policies, consequences may include:
• Warning or formal notification.
• Withdrawal from the course certificate.
• Loss of assessment points associated with attendance.
• Exclusion from future training programs in the event of recurrence.
Seventh: Commitment and Evaluation
• Online attendance is considered part of the trainee's overall performance evaluation.
• Commitment to attendance reflects seriousness and respect for the training process.
